This original European Mercedes-Benz 380 SL R107 is a rare find, even for us. Since new, it has covered only 73.000 original kilometres, and it has changed hands just once, back in 2006. The first owner bought it from a Mercedes-Benz dealer in Germany and registered it there on German plates. The second owner has only ever driven the car on German collector plates, which is why the Fahrzeugbrief lists just one official owner.

This Mercedes-Benz classic is exceptionally well documented. Even the original purchase invoice has been kept, along with the sales invoice from the first to the second owner. There is also a fully stamped service book, plus various invoices for maintenance and repairs over the years, giving the car a particularly complete history.

As this 380 SL has seen little use in recent years, we have included around €7.000 worth of work in the price. This mainly covers maintenance and technical catching up, so there is genuinely nothing left to fault on this car. Cosmetically too, despite its age, it shows almost no signs of use.

Anyone with experience of classic cars knows how hard it is to find an R107 SL in this exceptional condition. Restoring an average example to this level of quality quickly costs considerably more, which is why a truly well-preserved original is always the better choice for anyone looking for a car in near-new condition.
