The Mercedes W111 Berline was the S-Class of the 1960s and succeeded the well-known Ponton series. This 220 version is the entry-level model, fitted with a carburettor. At the time, the differences were minimal: this model features smaller tail lights and delivers 95 hp, compared to 110 hp in the 220 S. In practice, the driving experience remains virtually the same — smooth, comfortable, and capable in modern traffic.

This Heckflosse has also been fitted with a few visual upgrades from the S-models, such as additional chrome trim and a dual rear bumper. These can easily be returned to the original single bumper if preferred.

This Mercedes 220 classic has undergone extensive mechanical work. The entire braking system has been replaced, the engine received a full overhaul, and all bushings on both the front and rear axles have been renewed. The body has been professionally treated and made completely rust-free. The interior remains largely original due to its excellent condition — only the headliner and carpets have been replaced.
