At the end of 2024, I arrived at Terrijn Classics with my father’s classic car, a 40-year-old Mercedes W126 S280 that I wanted to register and preserve, despite its many issues. The car suffered from developing rust, failing components, and years of missed maintenance and repairs. Preserving this car as a memory of my father and bringing it back into proper condition meant a great deal to me.
Terrijn Classics took the car under their care and provided very detailed advice on the necessary, upcoming, and optional works they could carry out. The project was extensive and complex, but they took on the challenge. Throughout the restoration, I received regular updates, and decisions could easily be adjusted along the way when needed.
In the end, I was able to take delivery of the car, fully restored and looking just as I remember when my father bought it in 1985. Every detail had been taken care of, even down to fitting a modern radio with a classic appearance.
I would like to thank Joren Terrijn and his team for their outstanding work, and I highly recommend them for projects that others may not be able — or willing — to take on.
